Plans and regular prices

PlanPriceWith a phone lineSpeeds
5G Home Rely$50/mo$35/mo170–354 Mbps (capped at 354)
5G Home Amplified$60/mo$45/mo170–498 Mbps
5G Home All-In$70/mo$55/mo170–498 Mbps, plus streaming, mesh extender and tech support
Home Internet Backup$20/mon/aFor homes that already have wired internet
Prices with AutoPay ($10/mo more without). Plus a $2.60/mo regulatory and telco recovery fee. All plans have unlimited data, no contract and no monthly equipment fee.

Which plan? Rely is enough for most homes of one to three people. Amplified is worth $10 more if you want speeds above 354 Mbps where your tower supports it. All-In makes sense mainly if you'd pay for Hulu and Paramount+ anyway, since it also gets the biggest prepaid card.

How to get the advertised price

  1. Check availability at your address on t-mobile.com. Offers vary by address and some areas are waitlisted.
  2. Add or keep a T-Mobile phone line on an eligible plan. That's where most of the discount comes from.
  3. Turn on AutoPay, which the advertised prices assume.
  4. Register the promo code after you activate to get the prepaid card. Screenshot the offer and your order confirmation.
  5. Check your first two bills for the free-month credit.

The fine print

  • A one-time $35 device connection charge is due at sale.
  • The 5-year price guarantee covers the plan price, not taxes, fees or AutoPay discounts.
  • The prepaid card can't be cashed out and expires six months after it's issued.
  • Rely is capped at 354 Mbps for new customers, and speeds on every plan depend on how busy your local tower is.
  • Price depends on keeping the phone line: cancel it and the internet price goes up by $15.

How it compares

Verizon 5G Home and AT&T Internet Air cost about the same with a phone line. Without a T-Mobile line, prepaid options on T-Mobile's network can be cheaper; see the cheapest 5G home internet and the best 5G home internet. If fiber reaches your address, it's usually faster for a similar price.

Questions

What is the best T-Mobile home internet deal right now?

New lines get a month free as a bill credit plus $100 back on Rely or Amplified, or $200 back on All-In, on a virtual prepaid card. With a T-Mobile phone line and AutoPay, Rely is $35/mo, locked for five years, or $30 with a 55+ phone plan.

Do I need a T-Mobile phone line to get the deal?

No, but it's cheaper with one. Without a phone line, plans are $50 to $70/mo with AutoPay; a T-Mobile voice line takes $15/mo off, so Rely is $35.

How do I get the $200 prepaid card?

Sign up for an eligible plan, then submit the rebate on T-Mobile's promotions site after you activate: $100 on Rely or Amplified, $200 on All-In. Allow 7 weeks. The card can't be cashed out and expires six months after it's issued.

Does T-Mobile have a senior discount on home internet?

Yes, if you have a T-Mobile 55+ phone plan. Rely is $30/mo and All-In $50/mo with AutoPay when bundled with any 55+ voice line, with the same 5-year price guarantee.

Does T-Mobile have home internet for RVs?

Yes: AWAY, built for RVs and travel. It's $110/mo with AutoPay for 200 GB or $160/mo unlimited, and you can pause it for $10/mo, up to 90 days twice a year. See our T-Mobile AWAY review.

Does T-Mobile have business internet deals?

5G Business Internet is $35/mo with a business voice line, with a 5-year price guarantee, a Wi-Fi 7 gateway and up to $800 toward early termination fees as bill credits.

Is there a fee to sign up?

A one-time $35 device connection charge is due at sale. There's no monthly equipment fee and no annual contract.

Will T-Mobile pay my cancellation fee?

Yes. If you're switching, T-Mobile pays up to $750 of your old provider's early termination fee, on a prepaid card. Keep your final bill showing the fee.

Should I wait for Black Friday?

T-Mobile's home internet offers change little around Black Friday, and the 5-year price lock starts when you sign up. If you need internet now, there's no reason to wait; see T-Mobile Black Friday deals for last year's offers.
