Sparklight data caps by plan (2026)
Some Sparklight plans are unlimited and some are not. The plan name tells you most of what you need.
Sparklight's 1 Gig and "Freedom" plans include unlimited data, with a network-management threshold of about 5 TB a month. Some lower-priced tiers have data allowances; plans listed at 700 GB and 1,500 GB show up in 300 and 600 Mbps tiers. Your Broadband Facts label is the final word.

How does Sparklight compare with other cable providers?
Most large cable companies have dropped hard caps on new plans. Xfinity's current plans include unlimited data, Spectrum has never had caps, and Mediacom's plans are unlimited with an upload slowdown above 1 TB. Astound still caps some tiers. How much data do everyday activities use?
At those rates, a 700 GB allowance covers about 230 hours of HD streaming a month, roughly 7–8 hours a day for a household. One or two large game downloads can take a big bite out of it.
