Total Wireless Home Internet
Bad value alone at $60, one of the best deals going at $35 — this plan only makes sense next to a Total Wireless phone plan.

Our verdict
Total Wireless is Verizon's other prepaid brand, and its home internet is priced to be bought as an attachment. On its own it's $60/mo, which is more than T-Mobile's $50 flat plan for less speed — hard to justify. Add a Total Wireless phone plan and the internet drops to $35, which is one of the lowest real monthly prices in the category.
Credit where it's due on disclosure: Total Wireless publishes a Broadband Facts label with a candid 20–148 Mbps download range rather than hiding behind "up to 200." That honesty tells you what to expect — a connection that's genuinely fine for streaming and browsing, and thin for video calls or gaming.
Buy it if you were already going to move your phone line here. Don't buy it standalone, and price in the router, which isn't included.

Frequently asked
How much is Total Wireless home internet?
$60/mo standalone, or $35/mo when paired with a Total Wireless phone plan. Neither is an introductory rate — the price doesn't jump after 12 months.
Is the router included?
No. Total Wireless sells the router separately, unlike Tracfone and T-Mobile, which ship a gateway at no extra cost. Factor that one-time cost into the comparison.
How fast is it?
Total Wireless publishes 20–148 Mbps down, 2–15 Mbps up and 43–85 ms latency on its own Broadband Facts label, against an advertised "up to 200 Mbps." The wide range is normal for fixed wireless.
Is it the same as Verizon 5G Home?
Same towers, different product. Total Wireless is a Verizon-owned prepaid brand, so your traffic is deprioritized behind Verizon postpaid customers, and the plan terms, support and speeds sold are not the same.
Do I need a credit check?
No. It's prepaid — no credit check, no contract, no early termination fee.
