LG Appreciation Program: discounts for military, students, teachers and more
LG gives verified groups at least 10% off its own sale prices, plus free installation on major appliances.
The LG Appreciation Program gives verified groups at least 10% off LG.com sale prices through the LG Partner Store. It covers military members, veterans, Reserve and National Guard, and their dependents; nurses and medical workers; first responders; teachers and students; and government employees. You verify once with ID.me, then sign in to the Partner Store to shop. Members also get free delivery, room-of-choice delivery for appliances and TVs over 55 inches, and free installation on select appliances.
Who qualifies
LG lists these groups as eligible through ID.me verification:

- Medical: nurses, medical providers and hospital employees.
- First responders: firefighters, police officers and EMTs.
- Education: teachers and students.
- Government employees: federal, state and local.

How to sign up
LG's sign-up has three steps. You only verify once.
- 1. Verify with ID.me: on LG's Appreciation Program page, choose your group and follow the ID.me prompts. You may need a document such as a military ID, DD-214, school email or staff ID.
- 2. Register for the LG Partner Store: create a Partner Store account linked to your verification.
- 3. Shop and save: sign in to the Partner Store and member prices appear on eligible products.
The LG Partner Store
Members shop at the LG Partner Store, a sign-in-only version of LG.com. Prices there are LG's sale prices with the member discount already applied, so you don't enter a code for the standard discount. During sales, LG sometimes posts extra codes for members. Use only codes shown by LG in the Partner Store or in LG emails.
Owners on Reddit and AV forums often report the Partner Store as the lowest price on LG OLED TVs during sale events. Compare it with Amazon and Best Buy before you buy, since retailers may add gift cards LG doesn't match.
Does it work with Black Friday prices?
Yes. LG describes the discount as at least 10% below its own sale prices, so it applies on top of the current deal price rather than the full price. During Black Friday that can make LG.com cheaper than Amazon or Best Buy for the same TV or monitor, even when the regular sale prices match.
Compare the member price with retailer prices before you buy. Retailers sometimes add gift cards or free accessories that LG doesn't match. Our LG Black Friday page lists the current offers.
What it's best for
The discount helps most on big purchases: an OLED TV, a TV and soundbar bundle, a gram laptop or a home office monitor. On a $1,500 TV, 10% is $150, which often beats a retailer's gift card offer.
For appliances, the free installation is worth as much as the discount. LG also runs a separate free TV wall mounting offer on select TVs through November 1; see what TV mounting usually costs.
Similar discounts elsewhere
Many phone carriers and internet providers offer their own military, teacher and first responder discounts, usually also verified through ID.me or SheerID. See our guide to military, student and teacher discounts on internet, phones and TVs.
Canada and other countries
LG Canada runs its own Appreciation Program on LG.ca with different groups, including seniors and new Canadians. Canadian members get a single-use personal code for 10% off to apply at checkout. US verification doesn't carry over.
Common questions about verification
The program is free to join. ID.me verification is a one-time step; after that, you sign in to the Partner Store with your LG account. If ID.me can't verify you automatically, it asks for a document upload or a video call. For help, use ID.me's help center or LG's online chat on LG.com.
Is the Appreciation Program worth it?
For a TV, laptop or appliance you were going to buy from LG anyway, yes: 10% off a $1,500 OLED is $150, and free delivery and installation add more value on appliances. It matters less on small accessories, where shipping may not be free.
The catch is that you have to buy from LG. Retailers sometimes beat LG's member price with gift cards, longer return windows or store credit cards. Check your total at the Partner Store against Amazon and Best Buy, then decide.
What to know before you buy
Returns and warranties follow LG.com's standard terms, so check the return window for large items like TVs and appliances before ordering. Delivery appointments for appliances and large TVs are scheduled at checkout. Keep your order confirmation, since price adjustments and Black Friday Price Guaranteed claims go through LG customer service.
