Premium data and hotspot

Premium data is the amount that gets priority when a tower is busy. CoreMobile has 50GB and ProMobile 200GB a month; after that, speeds can slow during congestion until the next bill cycle. SuperMobile's premium data is unlimited. Hotspot at full speed is 5GB, 200GB and 300GB, then unlimited at 3G speeds.

Fees on top of the plan price

Every new line has a one-time $35 device connection charge. Monthly, T-Mobile adds a regulatory programs and telco recovery fee of up to $4.49 a line, plus federal and local surcharges and taxes that vary by location. There is no early termination fee.

Add-ons

CoreMobile can add Threat Protect for $1.99 a line, T-Satellite for $10 a month and extra hotspot (200GB total for $15 a line on six or more lines). Scam Shield Premium is $4 a line on CoreMobile and ProMobile and included on SuperMobile.

Switching offers

New accounts with at least three voice lines get the third line free on all three plans. T-Mobile also offers up to $600 per line you switch, paid as 20 monthly bill credits, on plans of $85 a month or more with your own phone or one bought at full price. Credits stop if you cancel the line or change plans.

Who it's for

Teams of three or more who want predictable phone bills, especially if you also need a backup internet line. Compare it with Verizon, AT&T and US Mobile in our best business phone plans guide.

Our verdict

T-Mobile has the strongest small-business phone lineup of the three national carriers right now. All three plans lock the price of talk, text and 5G data for five years, there is no annual contract, and at six lines the per-line prices ($21, $34 and $42) undercut AT&T and Verizon.

For most teams, ProMobile is the one to pick: 200GB of premium data and hotspot covers field staff who tether laptops. CoreMobile suits office teams who live on Wi-Fi. SuperMobile is worth it for crews who work outside cell coverage, thanks to T-Satellite texting. Pair any of them with T-Mobile 5G Business Internet for $35 a month. For one or two lines, US Mobile for Business is cheaper.

Frequently asked

How much are T-Mobile business phone plans?

With AutoPay, CoreMobile is $65 for one line and $21 a line at six lines ($125 a month). ProMobile is $85 for one line and $34 a line at six ($200). SuperMobile is $100 for one line and $42 a line at six ($250). Taxes and fees are extra.

What does the 5-year price guarantee cover?

T-Mobile won't raise the monthly price of talk, text and 5G smartphone data on the plan for at least five years. Taxes, fees, add-ons, per-use charges and third-party services aren't covered, and the five years start when you activate or switch plans.

What fees should I expect?

A one-time $35 device connection charge per line, a regulatory programs and telco recovery fee of up to $4.49 per line a month, plus federal and local surcharges and taxes. There is no early termination fee.

Can I mix plans on one account?

T-Mobile prices the three plans by line count, and the third-line-free offer applies to new accounts with at least three voice lines on an eligible plan. Ask a business rep whether a mixed setup changes your per-line price before you order.

Do I get business internet cheaper with a phone line?

Yes. T-Mobile 5G Business Internet is $35 a month with any business voice line, with a 5-year price guarantee, and T-Mobile pays up to $800 toward your old provider's early termination fee.

Is T-Mobile's business coverage good enough?

T-Mobile has the largest 5G footprint of the three national carriers, but coverage still varies by building. Check its map at your address and on your team's usual routes, or use T-Mobile's free network trial before switching.
