AT&T Business Fiber
Symmetrical multi-gig fiber from $60/mo with built-in 5G backup, no annual contract and AT&T Guarantee outage credits. Our top pick for most small businesses.
Our verdict
AT&T Business Fiber is the safest small-business pick where it's available. Plans run 300 Mbps for $60/mo, 500 Mbps for $100, 1 Gig for $140 and 2 Gig for $185 with AutoPay and paperless billing, all symmetrical, with 5 Gig in limited areas. Add an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan and those drop to $40, $60, $90 and $135.
It includes built-in 5G backup, equipment and no annual contract. What it doesn't include is an uptime SLA: the AT&T Guarantee credits your bill for fiber outages of 20 minutes or more, but a contractual 100% uptime guarantee comes only with AT&T Dedicated Internet, a separate quote-based product.
For most offices, the guarantee plus 5G backup is enough. Businesses that can't go down for a minute should price Dedicated Internet instead.
What AT&T Business sells
Four kinds of internet
AT&T splits business internet into Business Fiber (the plans reviewed here), Dedicated Internet, Internet Air (5G home-style service) and Wireless Broadband. Dedicated Internet is the one with a 100% uptime service-level guarantee and credits if AT&T misses it; it's sold by quote.
Static IPs
Static IPs are an add-on on Business Fiber and standard on Dedicated Internet. They come in blocks of 8, 16, 32, 64 or 128, and three addresses in every block are reserved, so a block of 8 gives you 5 usable. AT&T doesn't publish one price; confirm it at checkout.
Installation and equipment
Professional installation is normally $99 and is waived when you order online. The Wi-Fi gateway and AT&T ActiveArmor security are included. If you cancel, return the gateway: unreturned equipment costs $150. New service is typically running in about a week and a half.
Who it's for
Offices that upload as much as they download (video calls, cloud backups, design files) and want no contract. If you need a contractual uptime guarantee, price Dedicated Internet. For a cheaper cable option, compare Comcast Business or Spectrum Business. See Spectrum Business vs. AT&T Business Fiber side by side.
AT&T Business Fiber plans (October 2026)
Built-in 5G backup
1 Gig and faster plans include 5G backup in the gateway at no extra cost; it needs power to work. Managed backup with a battery is an add-on for 300 and 500 Mbps. See business internet failover.
AT&T Guarantee vs. an SLA
AT&T Business Fiber carries the AT&T Guarantee: bill credits for qualifying fiber outages. That is not an SLA. For an uptime commitment, AT&T sells Dedicated Internet; see dedicated internet explained.
Former Quantum Fiber business customers
AT&T bought Quantum Fiber on Feb 2, 2026, and Quantum customers are moving to AT&T Fiber. If your business had Quantum, ask AT&T Business which plan and price you'll move to, and compare it with the table above.
