DAZN NBA team passes 2026-27: price, teams and how it works
With the FanDuel Sports Networks gone, DAZN is now the local home for several NBA teams. Here's what a team pass costs, which teams it covers and what it leaves out.
A DAZN NBA team pass is $19.99 a month or $119.99 for the season, or $24.99 / $139.99 for the Ultimate tier with more streams and multiview. DAZN is the only local home for the Pacers, Cavaliers, Timberwolves, Grizzlies and Spurs, and also carries local games for the Pistons, Hornets and Magic, plus the YES (Nets) and MSG (Knicks) feeds. It only works inside the team's home area and doesn't include national games.
Prices are DAZN's US prices for team passes. A regular DAZN subscription does not include NBA games.
DAZN NBA prices
| Pass | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly Standard | $19.99/mo | Every local game your team plays on DAZN, live and on demand; 2 streams in one home; downloads |
| Season Standard | $119.99 | Same, paid once for the season |
| Monthly Ultimate | $24.99/mo | Adds 5 streams in 2 locations, multiview, alternate feeds and camera angles, a one-time team store discount |
| Season Ultimate | $139.99 | Ultimate, paid once for the season |
Prices from DAZN for Cavaliers and Pistons passes; other teams follow the same tiers. New subscribers have had a 7-day free trial.
The season pass pays for itself after about six months, so it's the better buy if you're starting now. Monthly makes sense if you only want the stretch run.

How to sign up
- Go to dazn.com or open the DAZN app and pick your team.
- Enter your ZIP code. DAZN checks that you're inside the team's home TV territory, which can be large: the Pacers' covers Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri.
- Choose a Standard or Ultimate pass, monthly or season.
- Start the 7-day free trial if it's offered; you're charged when it ends.
- For free games only, a free DAZN account with just an email address is enough.
If the ZIP check says you're outside the territory, DAZN won't sell you the pass; use League Pass instead. Some teams, including the Pacers, give season ticket holders a free season pass.
Is it on DirecTV or cable?
Reports differ. PCWorld lists DirecTV packages as carrying these teams' local games, while a local-broadcast accessibility report counted the five DAZN-only teams as not available on cable at all. If you'd rather keep one bill, check DirecTV's regional sports lineup for your ZIP before you cancel anything. Either way, the free over-the-air games still work with an antenna.
What DAZN doesn't include
- National games. Games on ESPN, ABC, NBC, Peacock and Prime Video aren't on DAZN, even for your team.
- Out-of-market games. If you live outside the team's area, you need NBA League Pass instead.
- Playoffs. Postseason games air on national TV.
That makes DAZN-only teams some of the hardest to follow. One fan site's accessibility ranking put the Cavaliers last, since fans need DAZN plus the national services to see every game.
Devices, picture quality and internet
The DAZN app runs on more than 100 devices, including smart TVs, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV, game consoles, phones, tablets and web browsers. Games stream in 1080p, with full replays and highlights. An HD game needs a steady 5 to 8 Mbps; Ultimate's multiview, with up to four feeds on one screen, needs 25 Mbps or more. How to cancel
- In the DAZN app, tap the profile icon at the top right.
- Go to My Account, then Subscription.
- Cancel the pass.
A Monthly Flex Pass stops at the end of the month you've paid for. A season pass runs to the end of the season; cancelling just stops it from renewing next year. If you only want the playoff push, monthly is the safer choice.
