Our verdict

Spectrum Business keeps things simple: no data caps and no contracts. Internet 500 is $65/mo and 1 Gig is $115 on promotional pricing, with standard rates after the promo period. 2 Gig is sold in select markets.

The standout offer is the mobile bundle: add four Spectrum Business Mobile lines and the internet is free. Invincible WiFi adds 5G backup and is included on 2 Gig.

Uploads trail fiber, so upload-heavy offices should check for fiber first. Budget for the price step-up after the first year.

What Spectrum Business sells

Static IPs

Static IPs are an optional add-on. Spectrum doesn't publish the price; one reviewer was quoted $20/mo, and it varies by location.

Wireless backup

Spectrum Wireless Internet Backup keeps up to 4 devices online at up to 10 Mbps if your line goes down, with an 8-hour battery for power outages. It requires a Spectrum static IP or Business WiFi subscription.

Contracts and guarantees

Standard plans are month-to-month with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Bundling Spectrum Business phone or mobile saves up to $25/mo and unlocks a 3-year price guarantee; internet-only promos last 1 year, so compare the standalone price before assuming the headline rate.

Who it's for

Small businesses that want no contract and a big footprint: after the Cox merger, Spectrum covers 45 states. Former Cox Business customers should see our Cox page for what changes. If you need fast uploads, compare AT&T Business Fiber. See Spectrum Business vs. AT&T Business Fiber side by side.

Cox Business is now Spectrum Business

Charter, which runs Spectrum, completed its purchase of Cox on Aug 20, 2026. Spectrum branding and pricing are coming to Cox areas, and new business customers there get Spectrum Business plans.

  • Existing Cox Business customers: current agreements, prices and equipment carry on for now. Keep your contract end date and ask your account rep in writing what plan you'll move to and when.
  • Static IPs and phone numbers: confirm they'll carry over before any migration date.
  • Shopping now: compare Spectrum Business with Comcast Business and AT&T Business Fiber where they serve you.

Both are cable with slower uploads than fiber. Spectrum Business has no contract; Comcast often needs a term agreement for its best price. They rarely serve the same address. Read our Comcast Business review.
