AT&T is taking up to $1,200 off Apple's new foldable iPhone Duo with an eligible trade-in, for new and existing customers on eligible unlimited plans. The discount comes as bill credits over 36 months.
Skip it if: you're not sure you'll stay three years. Leave early and the credits stop; you owe the rest of the phone.
iPhone 17e: $0/mo with trade-in
With an eligible trade-in and unlimited plan, AT&T's promotional credits bring the iPhone 17e to $0/mo on a 36-month installment plan.
Skip it if: you don't have a phone to trade in, or you'd rather keep your phone and pay less each month on a prepaid plan (below).
What AT&T offered last Black Friday
AT&T launched its 2025 holiday lineup on Nov 21. The headline deals: the iPhone 17 Pro for $0 with an iPhone trade-in in any condition, up to $1,100 off the iPhone 17 Pro Max and up to $700 off the iPhone 17 with a trade-in, and an Apple Watch SE 3 and iPad for $0.99/mo each when you got a new iPhone. The phone discounts came as bill credits over 36 months. The iPhone Air and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL were also free with an eligible trade-in and unlimited plan, and the iPhone 16 Plus was $10.99/mo with no trade-in.
For home internet, AT&T advertised Fiber 1 Gig for $37/mo with eligible AT&T wireless. Deal sites also listed a $300 AT&T Visa reward card with qualifying internet and code HOLIDAY150; we haven't confirmed when that ran. In 2023, AT&T Fiber plans came with up to $250 in reward cards.
Should you wait for Black Friday?
For a phone, usually yes: last year's holiday lineup, which started Nov 21, made several flagships free with a trade-in. The exception is the iPhone Duo; its $1,200 preorder offer is already as large as last year's best holiday discount. For AT&T Fiber, it depends on wireless. If you have or plan to get an AT&T phone line, last year's $37 1 Gig price beat today's $50. If you don't, take today's $100 card before Oct 19; the internet-only price didn't drop last year.
AT&T phones are also sold at Costco, which currently advertises $350 when you switch to AT&T and buy a new phone on an installment plan.
