Internet deals depend on which providers reach you, so check your address first. If you're paying a rental fee, buying your own equipment saves more than most promos; see stop renting your modem.

AT&T Fiber 1 Gig: best fiber deal

$70/mo$100 reward cardLive now

1 Gig with matching upload speeds, plus a $100 reward card on online orders. The price isn't a 12-month promo, so there's no year-two jump. With an eligible AT&T wireless line it's $50/mo.

Skip it if: AT&T Fiber doesn't reach your address. AT&T's copper and Internet Air plans are a different product; check your address first.

T-Mobile 5G Home Internet: best no-contract price lock

$35/mo$50 without a T-Mobile lineLive now

$35/mo with AutoPay and a T-Mobile voice line ($50 without), locked for 5 years. No equipment fee, no annual contract, and T-Mobile covers up to $750 of your old provider's cancellation fee.

Skip it if: you need steady speeds in the evening, or you game competitively. 5G home speeds depend on your signal and on network traffic; see why T-Mobile Home Internet can be slow.

$45/mo$10 less than last holiday seasonLive now

300 Mbps for $45/mo, locked for 5 years, with WiFi equipment, unlimited data and a Mobile Select line free for a year ($30/mo after that). Requires AutoPay and paperless billing.

Skip it if: fiber reaches your address, or you upload a lot. Cable upload speeds are a fraction of fiber's.

Prepaid 5G home internet on Verizon's network. Buy one month and get the next free, and pay $35/mo with a Total Wireless phone plan.

Are Black Friday internet deals worth it?

Often, but read what the deal is. Monthly prices rarely drop for Black Friday. The savings come as extras on top: a gift card, a few free months, a speed upgrade or a longer price lock. Three things to check before you order:

  • The price after the promo. A 12-month price with a gift card can cost more over two years than a plan with a 5-year lock.
  • How the gift card arrives. Most are mailed or emailed weeks after install and must be claimed or activated in time.
  • Who qualifies. Almost every offer is for new customers. Current customers should ask for a better price instead.

For every current gift card offer in one place, see Visa gift card offers, compared.

Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday for internet

For home internet, the day matters less than for gadgets. Provider holiday offers usually run for weeks, from mid-November into early December, so Black Friday and Cyber Monday tend to show the same prices. Prepaid and equipment offers can be shorter, so check the end date on each deal.

Questions

Which internet provider has the best Black Friday deal?

Right now: AT&T Fiber for fiber (1 Gig for $70/mo with a $100 reward card), T-Mobile 5G Home for a no-contract price lock ($35/mo with a phone line), and Verizon Fios for the biggest gift card (up to $200). The best one for you depends on which providers reach your address.

Are Black Friday internet deals real?

Yes, but most of the savings are extras rather than lower monthly prices: gift cards, bill credits, free months or longer price locks. Compare the price you'll pay after the promo, and note that gift cards usually arrive weeks later and must be claimed or activated.

When do Black Friday internet deals start and end?

Provider holiday offers usually start in mid-to-late November and most run through early December. Shorter offers on prepaid plans or equipment can end sooner. We list each end date and take deals off this page when they end.

Can existing customers get Black Friday internet deals?

Rarely. Almost all of these offers are for new customers. Existing customers usually do better by calling to ask for a current plan price or a retention offer. See how to negotiate your internet price.

Should I switch providers for a gift card?

Only if the plan is a good fit without it. A $200 card spread over two years is about $8/mo, so a plan that's $10/mo cheaper wins. If you're still under contract, check the early termination fee; T-Mobile covers up to $750 of it.
