Prepaid carriers have started their holiday pricing early this year. These are the offers worth taking now, who each one suits, and when they end.

All of these plans work with your current phone if it's unlocked, and none need a contract. If you also pay for home internet, check the phone-plan discounts on home internet before you switch; a Visible line, for example, takes $15/mo off Verizon Fios. Switching to a big carrier instead? See the T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T Black Friday pages. For the full list of early offers, see our early Black Friday deals.
Mint Mobile Unlimited: cheapest unlimited for six months
For its 10th anniversary, Mint is selling any 6-month plan, including Unlimited, for $10/mo to new customers: $60 up front for six months on T-Mobile's network. After six months, Unlimited goes back to the regular $35/mo for a 6-month plan.
Skip it if: you'd rather pay monthly, or you might change plans. The $60 is paid up front, and Mint says you lose the $10 rate if you change your plan before the six months are up.
Visible+: best long price lock
New members who pick Visible+ or Visible+ Pro, port in a number within 30 days and enter code 5OFF5 get $5 off every month for 60 months: $30/mo for Visible+ and $40/mo for Visible+ Pro, both on Verizon's network with 5G Ultra Wideband. It's a smaller discount than an intro deal, but it lasts far longer.
Skip it if: you want the cheapest plan. The $25 base Visible plan isn't included, and you can't move down to it during the 60 months without losing the discount.
US Mobile Annual Unlimited Starter: cheapest year of unlimited
US Mobile's current promo prices a full year of Unlimited Starter at $199, or Unlimited Premium at $299 for the first year. You pay for the year up front.
Skip it if: you can't pay a year at once, or you're not sure you'll stay twelve months.
Visible with a Back Market phone: best if you also need a phone
Buy a refurbished phone on Back Market, then join Visible with the code Back Market emails you: $5/mo off Visible ($20) or Visible+ ($30), or $10/mo off Visible+ Pro ($35), for 24 months.
Skip it if: you already have a phone you're happy with. The code only comes with a Back Market purchase; take the 5OFF5 deal above instead.
Twigby: for light data users
Twigby sells small tiered plans on Verizon's network with no credit check, and new customers usually get lower intro pricing for the first three months. We haven't confirmed a current or holiday offer yet; check the price on Twigby's site before you order.
Skip it if: you need unlimited data. Twigby's plans are tiered, so heavy users pay more than on Mint or Visible.
Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday for phone plans
For phone plans, the day matters less than the end date. Carriers launch holiday plan offers the week before Black Friday and usually keep them through Cyber Monday and into December; last year Visible's ran Nov 19 to Dec 9. Cyber Monday tends to add online-only phone discounts rather than lower plan prices.
Phones are different. Black Friday is when carriers and retailers discount devices most, so if you need a new phone, wait for Nov 27 and pair it with a bring-your-own-phone plan. If you're on a postpaid plan with a device payment, check what you still owe before you switch.
Questions
Will Black Friday phone plan deals get better?
Sometimes, but the best ones often start early. Last year Visible's biggest offer, 50% off the Visible+ Pro annual plan ($225 for the year), launched Nov 19, 2025 and ran to Dec 9. Mint's $10/mo offer, which it calls its best deal ever, ends Oct 15. If a deal you want ends before Nov 27, take it.
When do Cyber Monday phone deals end?
Cyber Monday is Nov 30, 2026. Many carrier offers run into December, and each one has its own end date. We list the date on every deal and take deals off this page when they end.
Can I keep my phone number?
Yes. Every carrier here lets you transfer your number from your current carrier. Don't cancel your old plan first; the transfer cancels it for you. Some holiday offers require a number transfer.
Do I need a new phone to switch?
No, if your phone is unlocked and works on the new carrier's network. Mint runs on T-Mobile's network; Visible, US Mobile (one of its networks) and Twigby run on Verizon's. Most newer phones support eSIM, so you can switch without a SIM card. See eSIM, explained.
My carrier didn't honor a promo. What can I do?
Save the offer terms and your order confirmation, then contact the carrier's support and ask for the promo to be applied or credited. If that fails, ask for a supervisor, and as a last step you can file a complaint with the FCC. Most promo problems are a missing code or a missed requirement, like a number transfer within 30 days.
