Buy now or wait for Black Friday?
Last year the biggest phone plan offers started a week early. Visible's 50% off Visible+ Pro annual plan ($225 for the year) launched Nov 19, 2025 and ran to Dec 9. Xfinity's holiday deal, 300 Mbps with an unlimited mobile line for $40/mo for a year, ran through Dec 16.
If a deal you want ends before Nov 27, like US Mobile's annual plans (Oct 13) or Xfinity's free mobile line (Oct 25), take it now. Mint's $10/mo offer, which it calls its best deal ever, ends Oct 15. Router, mesh and power station prices usually drop Black Friday week, so wait on those.

Before you switch
- Check for a cancellation fee. If you're under contract, look up the early termination fee. T-Mobile 5G Home covers up to $750 of it.
- Buy your modem instead of renting. Return the rented one and buy a modem your provider approves; it pays for itself in about a year. Check modem prices
- Pair internet with a cheap phone line. Some 5G home plans cost less with a line from the same carrier: Visible Home Internet is $30/mo with a Visible plan, Total Wireless $35/mo with a Total Wireless plan.

What is the least expensive way to get internet?
