gFiber Business
Google Fiber's business service, now gFiber: Business 1 Gig at $100 or Business 2 Gig at $250 with a 99.9% SLA and a static IP, no contracts.
Our verdict
gFiber, formerly Google Fiber, keeps business pricing simple. Business 1 Gig is $100/mo and Business 2 Gig is $250/mo, both symmetrical with no contracts, no construction fees and no data caps.
The jump to 2 Gig buys more than speed: a 99.9% Service Level Guarantee, a single static IP and up to two mesh extenders. The 1 Gig plan has neither the SLA nor a static IP, so businesses that host services or need guaranteed uptime should budget for 2 Gig.
If you rent, gFiber may need your property manager's agreement before installation.
gFiber Business setup details
Static IP options
Business 2 Gig includes one static IP; Business 1 Gig doesn't list one. gFiber's router supports only a single static IP, so if you need more addresses you need your own router that handles secondary subnets or VLANs, and you still keep the gFiber router. On 1 Gig, if you only need to reach one server, gFiber's network box supports Dynamic DNS, which can stand in for a static IP.
Equipment and support
Both plans include a Wi-Fi 6E router with a guest network; 2 Gig adds up to two mesh extenders. You can use your own router, but gFiber then supports the connection only up to the Fiber Jack where it enters your building.
Which plan
gFiber says 1 Gig suits most businesses, and 2 Gig is for heavy uploading or downloading or 50+ users. gFiber and Astound are merging, expected by the end of 2026; see who owns every internet provider.

Do I need backup internet with gFiber Business?
If your business can't go offline (card payments, phones, cloud apps), yes. A cheap 5G line such as T-Mobile Business Internet Backup keeps you online during an outage. See our business failover guide for setup.
gFiber Business vs. AT&T Business Fiber: which is better?
Both are fiber. gFiber is in fewer cities but uses simple flat pricing; AT&T reaches more businesses and offers more add-ons like backup and static IP blocks. Read our AT&T Business Fiber review.
