Spectrum plans at a glance
Our verdict
Spectrum's pitch is simplicity: no data caps, no contracts and a free modem. New customers ordering online pay $30/mo for Internet 100, $40 for 500 Mbps and $60 for 1 Gig for the first year, then standard rates apply. 2 Gig is offered in select markets.
Opensignal's May 2026 US fixed broadband report gave Spectrum the highest Reliability score of the five largest ISPs, 761 on its 1,000-point scale, and Spectrum's typical uploads rose 36% year over year as it upgrades its network. Uploads still trail fiber.
The extras add real value: a free Unlimited Mobile line for a year with any internet plan, and a Savings Guarantee for households that move two phone lines over. Plan for the year-two price rise, and for the $10/mo WiFi router on plans below 1 Gig.
